May 14th Villages Panel SAVE THE DATE

Dear Age-Friendly network, especially our friends in Dorchester,

Are you interested in joining a village in Dorchester?
One of the major goals of the Age-Friendly movement is to support people who want to age in their communities. The village model, pioneered by the Beacon Hill Village right here in Boston is now an international model, and was started so neighbors could help one another remain in their homes by coordinating access to affordable services and create a social fabric of support.
One of the action items in our Age-Friendly action plan is to help neighborhoods without a village to start one. Please attend this forum to hear ideas and practical steps to make this happen in Dorchester.
