"Help for Community Homeowners," Apr. 28

Need help with your mortgage? Come to the "Help for Homeowners Community Event." Don't miss this free opportunity to meet one-on-one with your mortgage lender or a HUD-approved housing counselor. Find out if you qualify for the Obama Administration’s Making Home Affordable Program or other options from your lender. You can get the assisatance you need on Thursday, April 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hynes Convention Center, 900 Boylston Street, Boston.

The Hynes Convention Center (CC) is available via the MBTA by boarding the Orange Line train
to Back Bay Station or Green Line train D (Riverside) to Hynes CC/ICA stop. If traveling by commuter rail or Amtrak from points west or south of Boston, get off at the Back Bay Station.

Please bring the following documents: 

  • Monthly mortgage statement Information about other mortgages on your home, if applicable
  • Two most recent pay stubs for all household members contributing toward mortgage payment
  • If self-employed, the most recent quarterly or year-to-date profit and loss statement and two years of tax returns
  • Documentation of income you receive from other sources (alimony, child support, social security, etc.)
  • Two most recent bank statements
  • A utility bill showing homeowner name and property address
  • Unemployment insurance letter, if applicable
