Citywide Community Yard Sale | June 28 & 29

Mayor Walsh presents Boston's first Citywide Community Yard Sale which will take place on June 28 and 29. This event will be organized by Greenovate Boston. Greenovate Boston seeks to promote the reuse and recycling of goods as well as the reduction of bulk waste sent to the curb. Mayor Walsh said that "Yard sales are a great way for residents to divert waste, save money, and even get to know your neighbors better." Residents can participate by hosting a yard sale on June 28 or 29, and register online at GreenovateBoston.org. Franklin Park Walking Tour | July 2

On July 2 from 6pm to 8pm, a National Park Ranger will conduct a guided walk of Franklin Park called "Country in the City." This walking tour meets at the Resting Place picnic tables across from Lemuel Shattauck Hospital. This event is FREE and open to the public. World Soccer Celebration | June 28 & July 13

Mayor Walsh's World Soccer Celebration takes place on June 28 and July 13. On June 28 at 9:00am, there will be a Youth Tournament at Saunders Stadium (Moakley Park).
