Dorchester Substance Abuse Coalition Forum | June 19

The Dorchester Substance Abuse Coalition is presenting a forum for parents and teens with several guest speakers including local men and women in recovery and Ms. Joanne Peterson from The forum’s goal will be to educate, help build skills and offer supportive resources to both youth and parents (parents and teens will be in separate meeting areas).

The program will be on Tuesday, June 19, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Leahy-Holloran Community Center at 1 Worrell Street, Dorchester, MA 02122. The event is held in partnership with City Councilor Frank Baker's Office.

Eliot Square to Franklin Park Bike Ride | POSTPONED

Due to tomorrow's forecast, this ride has been postponed until late June. Stay tuned for a new date!

On Thursday, June 7, there will be a bike tour that runs from Eliot Square to Franklin Park. The event will be from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Helmets are required! Tickets will be $10, with a rain date for Friday, June 8.
