UMass Presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee | April 20

The University of Massachusetts Boston Dept. of Performing Arts presents the 2005 Tony Award Winning Musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Performances are in the McCormack Theatre, located at 100 Morrissey Blvd. There will be a special community night performance held on April 19th at 7PM.

MBTA Community Meetings | April 30

Bus Routes 15, 22 and 28 Community Meetings
The MBTA has been introducing their Key Bus Route Improvement Program at a series of community meetings - they want community feedback on how to improve bus routes 15, 22 and 28. Preliminary recommendations include adding customer amenities and bus stop consolidation - bus stops may be relocated and/or eliminated.

Last meeting is Mon. 4/30/2012, 
6-8 PM
 at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 
650 Dudley Street, Boston - can be reached by Bus Routes 15, 16, 17, 41 and 45.

Project handouts will be available for viewing shortly before the meeting. Public input will help create a better bus service for our community! >> Read More

Howard Art Project: Peer Pressure | April 5

The Howard Art Project presents: Peer Pressure, is an MFA Thesis Exhibition with artists Alaina Gurdak, Anthony Montuori, Christopher Ford, Erik Benjamins, Leah Craig, Joanna Tam, Jordan Tynes, and Michael Gaughran.

The Opening Reception is on April 5 from 5-9PM, but will be open from April 6th to the 22nd, and is located at 1486 Dorchester Ave.  Hours: Fridays-Sundays 12 - 6PM and by appointment.
