Dot-ini 2014, the X-Tini, is happening November 6th from 7PM to 10 PM at The Blarney Stone celebrate our tenth annual with world-famous Master of Ceremonies (and neighbor!) RYAN LANDRY, have a great time AND support Fields Corner Main Street!
Our signature annual event “Martinis on the Avenue” started in 2005 as a joint fundraising event by Fields Corner Main Street and St. Mark’s Area Main Street to highlight the organizations’ efforts revitalizing their adjoining business districts on Dorchester Avenue. Nicknamed the “Dot-ini” the event is now run by Fields Corner Main Street and is one of THE highlights of Dorchester’s autumn social season. Each year brings a new creative theme, plus a sample of an original cocktail designed for each year’s event. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres cash bar and bid on great auction items.

DSNI Homecoming Weekend | Nov 7-8

Boston, Ma. –The yearlong 30th year anniversary celebration for the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI) heats up with a highly anticipated Homecoming Weekend. On Friday, November 7th, DSNI will host a community screening of the film, Gaining Ground, at the Strand Theatre in Dorchester. On Saturday, November 8th, DSNI will host their Homecoming Gala at UMASS Boston. Christopher Jones, the DSNI current executive director, will be joined by all of DSNI’s former executive directors who include, among others, Gus Newport and John Barros, now Boston’s Economic Chief. This grassroots fundraiser will be filled with Dudley Street neighborhood supporters and partners who would like to sustain the growth of a robust community.
