Come learn about FREE resources available to immigrants and refugees, including English classes, citizenship classes, job readiness training, financial services, family services, small business counseling, family reunification, resettlement services and MUCH MORE!

As part of this resource fair, MIRA Coalition will be offering appointments from 11 am - 1 pm for eligible green card holders interested in applying for US citizenship. Please see below for details about citizenship and enter your information to register for an appointment.

Peace Walk and Rally | June 16

"Let there be Peace on Earth and let it begin with us." The community will come together to walk and rally for peace on our streets. The walk route begins at Ashmont Station onto corners of Fuller and Washington where the 16-year old boy was killed last week. We will continue to walk up Fuller to Morton Street and onto West Seldon.

A candle-light vigil is also to take place for the 7-year old girl killed on her bike on West Seldon Street. The walk will proceed through Norfolk Street to New England and Talbot Avenue. 

A 3rd candlelight vigil will take place for the 18-year old young man hit and killed on his bike.

All are encouraged to attend.

Four Corners Plaza Public Meeting | June 17

Codman Square NDC is proposing to construct a mixed-use, affordable housing development in Dorchester consisting of a four-story building at 10–18 Bowdoin Street, with 28 affordable rental units and a commercial/retail space and three affordable rental townhomes at 100–104 Bowdoin Avenue. In addition, the development will have parking for up to 42 total spaces on-site/off-street.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
