The Reggie Lewis Center is hosting a book fair this Saturday, July 25th starting at 12 noon with lots of entertainment and fun activities for the children to partake in and donations of books you or your children have are welcomed. Go and enjoy a fun day of exploring new words with your children

Immigrant Integration Resource Fair | August 1st

On Saturday August 1st their will be a fair hosted by local non profit and government agencies for those who are looking for information about the process of citizenship, community news and resources. Dont miss this opportunity to get all of your questions answered.

Elma Lewis Playhouse in the Park | July 21 - August 18th

Every Tuesday this summer (Specifically until August 28th) the Franklin Park Coalition is presenting OrigiNation & Friends for summer campers and their families starting at 11AM! There will  be food trucks, vendors and plenty of music for the kids to dance to. Later shows start ay 6PM and ALL are welcomed to the party.

2nd Annual Emergency Preparedness Festival | July 18th

The Codman Square Branch Public Library is hosting their 2nd Emergency Preparedness Festival to insure that the community is actively prepared in case of extreme emergency's such as floods, fires as well as environemental disasters. Join them in making sure you and your family are prepped for serious emergencies.

A workshop against Foreclosure is being held tonight at 6PM ! If you've been targeted with predatory loans and are facing forelcosure please join the people trying  to reverse and help those facing the same circumstances having their homes and property taken away. Walk For Justice| July 19th

This event is to bring awareness to the many unsolved murders in our very own community.  On July 2, 2010 Anthony Smalls was murdered while on his way home, his murder is UNSOLVED. There are many families with stories similiar to this. In Franklin Park Playstead Picnic Area show your support as you walk for Justice in honor of Anthony Smalls

Artist In Residence Workshops| July 21

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s annual ParkARTS program is making its return with endless children's art workshops, designed to express their creativity with local artist while doing fun projects such as jewelerery making, painting and making mask. Kids ages 3-10 are welcomed but younger children must be supervised by adult while in program and groups (of 6 or more) will have to make arrangements before the 21st by emailing  Parks@cityofboston.gov
