Free Silvertones of Barbados Concert | July 23

"Every Praise to Our God". The Silvertones of Barbados are coming to Dorchester. They are a high energy group presenting traditional gospel songs mixed with modern up-tempo rhythms of reggae, calypso and soca. The Silvertones infect the audience with the rhythms of the Caribbean, where they develop an irresistible urge during performances, to get up and stomp their feet, dance, clap and rejoice.

Also featuring Melinda Lauture, recording artist and ordained minister of Greater Anointing Harvest Church, plus a joint Praise & Worship Team of area churches.

Free concert! Food and drinks with Caribbean flavor will be on sale.

Mondays With The Mayor | July 11

Mayor Walsh will host a town hall style meeting at the Murphy School to discuss any issues and concerns with residents.

The Mayor will take questions from the audience on any topic. He will be joined by his Cabinet and Department Heads who will also answer questions.
