Dorchester Day Parade | June 1

The 110th Dorchester Day Parade will take place on Sunday, June 1! Each year, the parade commences on the first Sunday in June. The parade starts at 1pm in Lower Mills at the corner of Washington Street and Dorchester Avenue. It will then travel along Dorchester Ave to Savin Hill at the corner of Columbia Road and Dorchester Ave. The parade route is 3.2 miles. Chief Marshal and the parade committee are proud to announce that the theme for the parade this year is "A Salute to the First Responders!"

 

In addition to the parade, don't miss these two great events:

Senator Linda Dorcena Forry is hosting her Annual Dorchester Day Cookout to kick-off the parade on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Meetinghouse Bank in Lower Mills. 

Mayor Walsh & Councilor Frank Baker will be hosting the 1st Annual Dorchester Day Block Party at the end of the parade route from 2pm-7pm. Live music, hot dogs, and more.
