Explore Japan 2016
The Explore Japan Program is a FREE unique 2.5-week cultural exchange program now celebrating its 23rd year! In this one-of-a-kind enrichment and exchange
experience, local students ages 8-18 host and spend time with a visiting
Japanese High School student, learn about the many facets of Japanese
culture, and make friendships to last a lifetime. Explore Japan is happy to
announce that we are now accepting applications from families in all Eastern
MA communities for Summer 2016.
- Boys and Girls ages 8-18 in any Eastern Massachusetts community are welcome to attend.
- Local students learn about Japanese culture in small groups, guided by a Japanese culture teacher and teacher’s aide. Activities include: Japanese Arts and Crafts, Flower Arranging, Calligraphy, Japanese Language, Japanese Pop-Culture and more!
- Each afternoon, local students and their Japanese host siblings embark on field trips or play fun games together! Field Trips Include: Bowling, Boston Tea Party Museum, Fenway Park Tour, Canobie Lake Park, and more!
