Dorchester Winter Farmers' Market, Mar 25

This Sunday, March 25th:  Dorchester Goes Green--GreenDorchester sponsors.  Bootstrap Composting will be on hand again.  Massages from 1-3 p.m.

Every week, the Farmers' Market will now have information about building jobs and trades every week. The Building Pathways Program and the Sheet Metal Workers will be at the market with information about apprentice program opportunities!

And, every week in March, the market will also feature fresh fish from Red's Best Seafood!

Boston's first, and Dorchester's own Winter Farmer's Market has proved to be a huge success! It opened Sunday, January 8th, and will happen every Sunday in January, February and March. Come early and ready to buy fresh and local vegetables, fruits, cheeses, meats and more!

Market hours are noon to 3:00 p.m., January through March. Customers enjoy local entertainment, workshops, music, and more. The market is held at the Great Hall of Codman Square Health Center, at the corner of Washington and Norfolk Streets. The market will be (the only winter farmers' market in the Boston area) accepting EBT and SNAP benefits! For more information, contact the Dorchester Food Co-op by email or visit their website. Check out the collection of photos from opening day on facebook here!

Attached are flyers for the market in Vietnamese, Haitian Creole, and English. Please note: anyone can shop at this market - you do not need to be a member of or join the food co-op.
