Food Co-Op Member Meeting | August 27

The Dorchester Food Co-Op first General Member Meeting will take place on August 27 at 7pm. The meeting will take place at 1500 Dorchester Ave. The meeting will cover these specific things:

  • Update on current site search, conversations with developers and the City of Boston
  • Details on fall membership drive
  • Meet the current steering committee and ratify the continuing of this group as the acting Board until our first election in November. (see attached file for short bios of current steering committee)
  • Learn about volunteer opportunities for building the Coop
  • Report on pilot projects: Fresh Fridays and Winter Farmers Market. Information on planning for second year of Winters Farmers market
