Sex at the Zoo at Franklin Park Feb. 10

21+ only! On Friday, February 10th, get ready for a voyeuristic peek into the private lives of animals during Franklin Park Zoo’s Sex at the Zoo lecture and Valentine’s Day themed event. The event starts at 6:00 and will be held at the Tropical Forest Pavilion. Learn everything you ever (and never) wanted to know about the romantic lives of animals. Do you wonder if animals find each other appealing or attractive? What are the similarities and differences between human and animal courtship? What can the techniques that animals use to attract mates teach us about friendship and romance? The event will feature a presentation by Dr. Rory Browne, zoo historian and member of Zoo New England’s Board of Directors, with insights about the pros and cons of relationships versus staying single in the animal kingdom. Come alone or bring a date - tickets are $20 per person, $35 per pair.

Local wines from Greenvale Vineyards and Still River Winery served, along with light refreshments.

Tickets may be purchased online at or by calling 617-989-0113. Franklin Park Zoo is located at 1 Franklin Park Road in Dorchester.
