Stitch House is a colorful haven of yarn and pattern for both the beginning knitter and the experienced sewer. Established in 2007 by Annissa Essaibi George, Stitch House offers a wide array of classes and clubs for those who wish to either begin learning to knit or want to learn a new knitting technique. Most classes require a small fee, but many of the clubs are free of charge. All are open to the public! In addition to offering classes to the community, Stitch House hosts girls' groups from both the Boston Collegiate Charter School and the Health Careers Academy, and is currently planning a partnership with the Murphy Community Center.

Owner Annissa Essaibi George, a life-long resident of Dorchester, brings with her extensive experience in the Dorchester Community having held executive positions in the McCormack Civic Association, Columbia-Savin Hill Civic Association and Fields Corner Main Street. Annissa works to not just sustain a good business but to positively impact our community. Stop by and check out their beautiful selection of yarns or pick up a list of classes and clubs!
