Jumpstart Community Corps Program

March 8, 2010 by landerson

Jumpstart is recruiting adults, age 55+, to partner young children to build skills crucial to school success. By becoming a Jumpstart Corps member, you have the unique opportunity to inspire young children to learn, serve in a local community, and work on a team with your peers.

Monthly stipend provided!

Jumpstart believes that early literacy is a fundamental building block of success. Through one-to-one relationships between young children and adults, Jumpstart inspires children to learn, adults to teach, families to become engaged in their child’s education, and communities to progress together.

Corps members will serve approximately 6 hours/week at a preschool site, working one-to-one with 3- to 5- year-old children to support their academic, social and emotional growth.

Interested? Please call Lauren Anderson at 617.822.8296 or send her an email.
