Survivors Support Group | Jan 30 - Feb. 27

Have you lost a relative, friend, colleague, significant other or neighbor to homicide? Do you need a safe space to begin the healing process? Can you make a 5-week commitment to dedicate 1.5 hour to taking care of you?  If you answered “Yes” to the first question and also said “Yes” to at least one of the other questions, then join the Survivors Support Group. This group is a survivor-based five-week group session for adult (18 and up) survivors of homicide victims who need help with processing through the overwhelming feelings and issues related to their loss, seeking help with staying in control of their lives, and being a support for others who relate to your loss.

The group will be held Wednesdays starting on Jan 30 – Feb 27 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Healing and Leadership Center at the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, 1452 Dorchester Ave, 3rd Floor. The Peace Institute is located near the Fields Corner T-stop. There is a free municipal parking lot at 195 Adams Street.  To register or for more information, please contact Marisa Luse or Janna Frelich at  617-825-1917.
