The mission of the Center for Community Health, Education & Research Inc (CCHER) is to advocate on behalf of families and their children for public health policies and services that will, over time, have long term benefits for them and the larger community. Our focus is to serve linguistically, culturally and socially challenged new immigrant, underprivileged and underserved residents in the greater Boston and the surrounding communities. We at CCHER believe that residents of a community can play an important role in organizing and advocating for efficient and affordable health care and health related services for their community.

The STRIVE philosophy is grounded in a commitment to find meaningful jobs for the chronically under-served and unemployed. Our mission is to place the unemployed in jobs and to keep them there, to assist others in adopting our model, and to encourage effective employment policies and practices globally.

La Alianza Hispana, Inc. is a community based organization providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health and education programs to the Latino Community of Greater Boston.

Founded in 1971, La Alianza Hispana has become the starting point for over 2,000 Latinos annually who seek support at all stages of life. La Alianza Hispana strenghthens individuals, families and communitites for ongoing success.

Our priority is to serve teens who have a high failure rate in other youth programs. At the Center for Urban Expression youth can relax in a safe, informal streets. Through having a drop-in center DYC is able to help reduce the likelihood that a youth will participate in high risk activities as well as the risk of becoming a perpetrator or victim in neighborhood violence.

To grow a thoughtful and productive community of youth and adults from diverse backgrounds who work together to build a sustainable food system. This community produces healthy food for residents of the city and suburbs, provides youth leadership opportunities. Most importantly, we strive to inspire and support others to create a change in their own communities.
