Dinner and Open Mic | Dec 11

Dot 2 Dot Cafe  will are hosting an Open Mic in collaboration with the Boston Music School of Arts (located in Lower Mills).  Come and join for dinner, drinks and live entertainment from local musicians and students of the school.  
They will be offering flatbread pizzas, beef chilli with crusty garlic bread, winter vegetable soup, and a special grilled cheese sandwich (Welsh Rarebit) with salad.  A range of desserts will also be available.

The founder of the ever-popular Dirty Old Boston Facebook page, Jim knows a thing or two about nostalgia and the fascination with Boston's recent past.  Sit down for a delicious three course meal, a discussion led by Jim, and plenty of good conversation. On June 19, Dot 2 Dot Cafe will be hosting live music featuring Alexi Paraschos and his band. If your heart is in music but life has taken you down a different path, this is your chance to come and jam with fellow musicians. Showcase your talents and be a part of a community that uses music to forge alliances. This event will begin at 7pm.

On June 20, Dot 2 Dot Cafe will be hosting a spoken word performance of 'For Colored Girls Who Consider Suicide When The Rainbow is Enuf' by Ntozake Shange. This amazing piece of work will be performed by the Pariah Theatre Company. Tickets are $12 and the age limit is 13+. Book Club & Open Mic | May 29 and 30

Two exciting events are taking place at the Dot2Dot on May 29 and May 30!

On May 29 at 6:30pm, a book discussion of The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer will be hosted at Dot2Dot. Then, sit down for dinner at 7pm!

On May 30 at 6pm, an Open Mic will be hosted by the Boston School of Music Arts. Spoken word, comedy, mimes, and more! Dinner and music will then start at 7pm. A $10

Live Music at Dot 2 Dot Cafe

On Friday, March 7 Dot 2 Dot Cafe will host live music from Alexis Paraschos and band. This event will take place at Dot 2 Dot Cafe located at 1739 Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Alexis Paraschos and band have just released a new CD titled "Something Greater". Tickets are $20 and that includes the cover charge and tapas style plates for the evening. There will also be some special Dot 2 Dot brews being mixed throughout the night. This event is for adults 21 and older. Come enjoy some great live music and meet other Dorchester residents.

Open Mic Night | January 31

Friday January 31 – Open Mic Night, in collaboration with the Boston School of Music Arts. Dinner from 6pm – $10 minimum spend per person. Music starts from 7pm.
