Kids' Garden Club: Annual Sweet Pea Planting | March 17

Help kick off gardening season early by sowing sweet pea seeds in the Adams Street Branch garden. The sooner they plant them the sweeter they'll be. Kids' Garden Club programs are suitable for ages 3 and up.

Planting Daffodils in Franklin Park | November 2

Saturday, November 2 10am -1pm at the Valley Gates Parking Lot in Franklin Park. The Franklin Park Coalition will be planting daffodils, pulling invasive trees and cleaning up the park to keep it safe and healthy. College students and community neighbors are encouraged to come out and volunteer in the beautiful fall weather. All ages can help.

You Can Pickle That?! | October 19

Saturday, October 19 at 9 am the Nightingale Community Garden (512 Park Street, Dorchester) will offer a free cooking class on how to "pickle" your harvest and preserve vegetable throughout the cold winter months.
