State Senate Forum | April 17

 

Don't miss the State Senate Forum on April 17. There's a special election for our state senate seat and the primary is April 30. Find out where the candidates stand on our important issues. This forum will take place at the Lee School (155 Talbot Ave in Dorchester) and will go from 6pm to 8pm. Childcare and light snacks available.

Election Day is TODAY: Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

Voting is a guaranteed right of every United States citizen over the age of 18 and one of the most important civic duties in a democracy.

If you feel intimidated or threatened by ANYONE at your polling station, please call: 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). This number is a permanent hotline run by the Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights and Economic Justice. On election day it will be staffed by volunteer lawyers from LCCR and the ACLU of Massachusetts, from the time polls open until they close.

Election Night Viewing Party | Nov. 6

A Conversation with Chief Justice Roderick L. Ireland, Feb. 23

On February 23, the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus will welcome a conversation with Beacon Hill Chief Justice Roderick L. Ireland, Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Justice. From 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. there will be light refreshments - the program happens from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The talk will take place at Boys and Girls Club of Boston, 15 Talbot Avenue. DotOut Candidate Forum Oct. 23

DotOUTOn October 23, DotOut will be hosting candidate forums for the Council at Large race. The next forum will be held at The Savin Hill Bar and Kitchen on Savin Hill Avenue from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
