FAFSA Day 2012 Jan. 29

Do you need information about how to afford college? Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Day will be taking place in a number of locations around Greater Boston this January! FAFSA Day is an opportunity to get free help completing your FAFSA for the 2012 - 2013 school year. While there are many locations hosting this event in the greater area, in the Dorchester / Roxbury area O'Bryant School of Math & Science will be open for FAFSA Day. The school is located at 55 Malcolm X Blvd, Roxbury, MA 02119. The event will be happening on January 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Resources that will be available include: Computer Access, Online Filing and Spanish Translators.

College Info Night @ UMASS Boston Dec. 8

It's nice to have people who understand the transition from high school to college. That's why parents, friends, and families of future college students are invited to attend a College Night at UMASS Boston for all students 10th grade and up! The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 8th. At the event, you can learn more about how to apply to college, financing a college education, university support services, and a recommended high school curriculum. Light refreshments will be served, and free parking is available! Students are of course, also welcome!

College Fair Nov. 3

On November 3rd, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Generation Next Academy will be hosting the 2nd Annual DotWell Generation Next Academy College Fair & Health Expo. The fair will take place Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Check it out! The fair will be held @ Dotwell Generation Next Academy @ Dorchester House, 1353 Dorchester Avenue. Check out colleges from all over just down the street! There will also be health organizations exhibiting at the fair, along with activities you can participate in. We hope to see you there!
