BPON (Boston Parent Organization Network) will be hosting a community forum on student assignment on Saturday, December 10, from 12 to 3 PM at Freedom House, 14 Crawford Street in Dorchester. Talbot Norfolk Triangle Monthly Meeting Nov. 29

TNT LogoThe November Talbot Norfolk Triangle neighborhood meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 29, at 6:45 p.m. at a special location. The meeting will be held at Prayer Tower Apostolic Church, located at 151 Norfolk Street in Dorchester.  Join Talbot Norfolk and other neighborhood associations as the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation shares their updated proposal for housing and commercial space on New England Avenue. Dorchester Substance Abuse Coalition Meeting Dec. 6

The Dorchester Substance Abuse Coalition will be hosting a Community Meeting on Tuesday, December 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Leahy-Holloran Community Center. The Leahy-Holloran Community Center is located at 1 Worrell Street in Dorchester, 02122. The meeting will feature special guests - Mr. Adam Butler, Executive Director of the Needle Exchange Program from the Boston Public Health Commission, Bureau of Addiction's Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Services. Adam Butler will be presenting NARCAN, a powerful tool in overdose prevention. The meeting will also feature The improbably PLAYERS, a fun theater group that will be enacting a ten-minute play to inspire young people to think and talk about the impact of substance abuse on their lives, friends, family, and community. The group also touches on real possibilities for change.
