Haitian Flag Day Celebration | May 16

haitian flag day flyer

Haiti broke the physical chains of slavery in 1804, but it has not yet broken the invisible chains of apartheid through language. The ongoing struggle is very visible, especially when you look into the eyes of a child, so confused by chanting lessons in a foreign language. You can be part of the solution. Join in the movement! Let’s celebrate transformative education! Come see for yourself, be a part of it!

When: Saturday, May 16th

6:30PM-10:00PM

Where: Fayerweather Street School

765 Concord Avenue, Cambridge

Tickets: $25
