Mayor Walsh’s Movie Nights

Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s Movie Nights, part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s ParkARTS program, will give residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy popular films under the night skies in city parks in August and September. 

All shows begin at dusk (approximately 7:45 p.m.)

Phi Beta Sigma and the Ignatius Foundation are hosting the 4th Annual Tribute to Black Women & Sapphire Awards Ceremony. The Omicron Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and the Ignatius Foundation is pleased to announce the 2016 Sapphire Award Honorees.

They will receive the coveted Sapphire Award, it’s the chapter’s highest honor given to non-members in the areas of education, business and social action who have shown to have dedicated their lives to the uplift of others in their communities.
