Dress Addressed 3rd Annual Prom Dress Drive, May 10, 24, 31

Ladies - do you need a dress or accessories for prom? The Grove Hall Community Center is hosting its third annual Prom Dress Drive to ensure all young women can attend their prom and look fabulous at the same time! You may keep the dress you find at the drive. This event will take place at 51 Geneva Ave from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m on Tuesday, May 10; 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24; and 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31. See you there!

Grove Hall PEACE Walks, May 11, 25

Project RIGHT, Inc.Demand peace! Pave the way with your feet and belief! The next Grove Hall Peace Walk will take place Wednesday, May 11 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Walk will depart from Project RIGHT, Inc. at 320A Blue Hill Avenue (Lawrence Avenue and Blue Hill Avenue). Come out and support your community!

The Grove Hall Branch Library and Grove Hall Community Center Open Mic Night present a Poetry/Rap Slam featuring local artist Arthur Collins! The public is encouraged to sign up and participate! Vendors - Join the Grove Hall Farmers' Market!

Greater Grove Hall Main StreetsThe Grove Hall Farmers' Market is looking for dedicated farmers interested in offering fresh produce to Roxbury and North Dorchester residents and consumers. The Market will be located adjacent to the Flames Restaurant located at 469 Blue Hill Avenue. The space is easily accessible by public transportion (bus routes: 14, 19, 23, 28, 45) and offers a free public parking lot behind the market. Unique crafts are sought in addition to fruits, vegetables, etc. Grove Hall Farmers' Market will run from Tuesdays July 12th to October 25th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Seasonal Cost for vendors is $50.
