Dot-ini 2014, the X-Tini, is happening November 6th from 7PM to 10 PM at The Blarney Stone celebrate our tenth annual with world-famous Master of Ceremonies (and neighbor!) RYAN LANDRY, have a great time AND support Fields Corner Main Street!
Our signature annual event “Martinis on the Avenue” started in 2005 as a joint fundraising event by Fields Corner Main Street and St. Mark’s Area Main Street to highlight the organizations’ efforts revitalizing their adjoining business districts on Dorchester Avenue. Nicknamed the “Dot-ini” the event is now run by Fields Corner Main Street and is one of THE highlights of Dorchester’s autumn social season. Each year brings a new creative theme, plus a sample of an original cocktail designed for each year’s event. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres cash bar and bid on great auction items.

The Fields Corner Civic Association regularly meets the first Tuesday of the month, however, because of the General Election, the November meeting of the Fields Corner Civic Association (FCCA) has been rescheduled for Monday, November 10th at 7:00 PM. 

The general meeting will be held in the Ditson Street Senior Housing Complex located at 25 Ditson Street on the first floor.

Boston's oldest farmers market sells fresh produce from Berberian Farm and Flats Mentor Farm, which specializes in Asian produce. 9 AM to Noon, every Saturday July-October. SNAP/EBT accepted. In the Fields Corner Mall parking lot, corner of Park St. and Dorchester Ave.

Fields Corner Public Art Project Community Meeting | May 7

On Wednesday, May 7 the Fields Corner “Freedom” Public Art Project will host a Community Meeting. This meeting will take place at the Vietnamese American Community Center located at 42 Charles Street from 6:30-8 pm. Viet-AID has received a planning grant from the Edward ingersoll Browne Fund, a public charitable trust administered by the City of Boston, to select an artist for a public art project on Town Field in Fields Corner. Join Viet-AID for a discussion about the project’s goals and hear updates on the artist selection process, budget, and schedule. Fields Corner Neighborhood Cleanup | May 3

On Saturday, May 3 join Boston Shines for a Fields Corner neighborhood clean up. This event is for Boston’s annual Spring Clean up and will take place from 9-11:30 am. Those that wish to volunteer should meet at 9:00 am at ADSL’s Field House on Town Field Park, 1565 Dorchester Avenue or at the Vietnamese American Community Center located at 42 Charles Street. After the cleanup be sure to join Boston Shines at 11:30 for a cookout. Help get the the Fields Corner neighborhood ready for spring! To register, or for more information call 617-822-3717 x10. Fields Corner Neighborhood Advisory Council | April 28

St. Mark's Parish

On Monday, April 28 the Fields Corner Neighborhood Advisory Council meeting will take place. This meeting will take place at St. Marks School Hall located at 1725 Dorchester Avenue beginning at 6:30 pm. The 7 civic groups that share the boundaries of Fields Corner will share more about their association. The seven associations that will be present are Clam Point Neighborhood Association, Fields Corner Civic Association, Five Streets Neighborhood Association, Freeport Adams Neighborhood Association, Meeting House Hill Neighborhood Association, Melville Park Association, and St. Marks Area Civic Association. This meeting hopes to bring voices together to make changes in the community and get attention to those who can help make a difference.
