How to get involved/application guidelines and procedures: 

How can my son/daughter apply for a seat in the school? We welcome calls by parents and students regarding admission to TechBoston Academy. In addition, you can contact your local Parent Information Center. How will students be selected for TechBoston Academy, and how many will be selected? Students will be chosen randomly from the pool of eligible applicants. Before entering the lottery students and parents should agree to the extended day, extended year calendar. The only eligibility requirement will be that each student must be eligible for promotion to the 9th grade (by June 30) as specified by Boston Public Schools’ standards. There will be approximately 90 students per class, meaning there will eventually be 380 students total.

Boston Middle School Academy (BMSA) is an alternative education program designed to help students reduce the negative behaviors that prevented them from achieving academic success in other Boston middle schools. The goal of this program is to successfully transition students to an appropriate middle school or high school at the end of the school year.

How to get involved/application guidelines and procedures: 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Students who have repeatedly violated the Code of Discipline at the Boston Public School in which they are currently, are referred to BMSA by the BPS Office of Alternative Education. Students are educated at BMSA for one year before they transition to another middle or high school.

Dr. William W. Henderson Inclusion Elementary School: The Henderson Inclusion School is a small elementary school serving children from early childhood through Grade 5.
