Police plan Flashlight Walk in Area C-11 | Jul.19

Captain Tim Connolly, Area C-11 Commander, invites residents in Dorchester to join him and Police Commissioner Evans on an annual Summer Flashlight Walk on Tuesday.

When: July, 19 at 7:30

Where: The walk leaves from the Marshall School, at 35 Westville St. in Dorchester

Medication Disposal Oct. 29

Want to get rid of unused and expired medication? On Saturday October 29, the Boston Police Department will hold a safe disposal day at District C-11 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Hypodermic needles, used or unused, will not be accepted. District C-11's headquarters are located at 40 Gibson Street in Dorchester.

C-11 Bike Rodeo, Jun. 11

Bring your bike and helmet! Play fun bike games and take agility tests while learning bike safety and grabbing some free, while supplies last bike gear! On Saturday, June 11, 2011, the Boston Police Department, along with The Boston Society of Vulcans (Safety Town), the Suffolk, County Sheriff’s Department and Dot Bike, is hosting a summer safety day for local families. Local children will have the opportunity to learn valuable safety skills and important bicycle safety tips. Children ages 4-12 years and parents welcome. Free raffle for two 20” kids bikes!  The show goes down from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. at the I.B.E.W.
