On Thursday July 7, 2011 from 3 to 6 p.m. the Bowdoin Street Health Center at 230 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester will launch the 2011 Bowdoin Geneva Farmer’s Market. The kickoff event will include free samples, games, music, face painting, and prizes! Join us for an afternoon of fun, family and food! Fresh vegetables, fruits and baked breads are available from local farms and bakeries, including Land’s Sake, City Harvest and Ward’s Berry Farm.
The Farmer's Market events will run every Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Bowdoin Street Health Center Parking Lot, starting July 7 and ending October 27. Cash, EBT, WIC and Senior Coupons are accepted and you save 50% when you use your EBT card at the market!
