3rd Annual Ugly Sweater Holiday Party | Dec 18

Come and enjoy a Holiday Party to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester! Be sure to wear a Christmas sweater (hint: the uglier, the better!) So raid grandma's closet or scour a thrift shop. An elegant choice would be a flop. The most obnoxious earns the praise, celebrate the kitschy side of the holidays!

 There will be great music, food and a cash bar as well as amazing raffle prizes! Raffle tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 For $10. We will also be handing out prizes to the top 3 ugliest sweaters that night. Thanks to our friends at Flavio D Photography we will have a photobooth onsite to document all of the fantasic ugly sweaters throughout the night!

Destination U | Nov 10

Join the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester for Destination U: An opportunity fair for life after high school. There will be panel discussions, alumni, current university students, professionals and college access counselors, plus raffles, food & more!

Walk for Homelessness 2015 | Jan 18

The Boys and Girls Club of Blue Hill is hosting their second annual Walk for Homelessness. Join them as they stand against poverty and homelessness and take steps toward finding homes for those in need. We would like to raise awareness about the impact homelessness has on our community. Some of the proceeds will be donated to the Pine Street Inn.

Passing the Mic | June 5

School Readiness Roundtable | March 14

 

Fields Corner Children thrive/Dorchester Cluster invites parents, caregivers, community member and service providers to join the next Fields Corner Children Thrive School Readiness Roundtable which will take place on March 14 from 12:00pm to 2:30pm at 1135 Dorchester Ave. Lunch and childcare will be provided! There will be a raffle for $20 Target gift cards for parent and grandparent participants. To be eligible for the raffle, you must attend the entire meeting. Dot Dads | March 13

Dot Dads is a 13-week program for fathers that starts on March 13. If you are a father or if you know of a father who would like to learn nurturing/parenting skills, become a better dad, and connect to other fathers in the community, contact 617-474-1143 x222 to reserve a spot.

Friendship Group | Feb. 5

 

Be a great friend! First and third graders can come and learn social skills, disability awareness, how to help others, and how to be a great friend! This friendship group will take place every Tuesday at 4pm starting February 5 (for 5 weeks). These meetings will take place at 1135 Dorchester Avenue. Drop & Shop | Dec. 16

 

Do your holiday shopping while your children have fun! Drop off your children (ages 3-8) at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester (1135 Dorchester Ave) while you shop! Childcare will last from 10am to 2pm and will include arts and crafts, music, board games, and more! Please have your child bring a lunch and don't forget that SPACE IS LIMITED! Parent Resource Group | Oct. 24

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester has recognized that parents of children with special needs are increasingly in need of support. These resource groups will be a place where parents can meet to network, share concerns, ask questions, air frustrations, celebrate successes and be an overall place of comfort and friendship.
