Hazardous Waste, eWaste, and Paper Shredding Oct. 29

Got some stuff to get rid of? October 29th is the day for you to recycle electronic waste, and safely shred documents with confidential information. Come to 200 Mt. Vernon Street in Dorchester (the Bayside Expo Center Parking Lot) and recycle your unwanted documents and waste for FREE - residents can bring up to 10 boxes to shred! Don't forget, you can also get rid of any hazardous waste you may have on October 29th as well, at UMass Boston in Dorchester. Become a Food Coop Ambassador, Jun. 30

Bring food access to Dorchester! Come hear about the plans to get healthy, affordable food in Dorchester by building a Community Food Co-op. DEHC visits The Food Project, Jun. 25 (PHOTOS UP!)

Come take a tour of The Food Project's Greenhouse and Urban Farm with DEHC! The Dorchester Environmental Health Coalition will take its regular Saturday workshop on the road for a special urban agriculture expedition on Saturday, June 25. From 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., participants will be led through The Food Project's exciting Roxbury spaces. After the tour, the group will engage in a short volunteer workblock in the greenhouse.
