Bring a blanket, pinic chairs, and your friends and family to enjoy the afternoon 'down at the beach!'

Middle Eastern Refugee Solidarity Dinner | Feb 28

Please join Dorchester People for Peace in an evening of delicious middle eastern food, activities for children, and speakers on the refugee crisis in Europe and the middle east. You will hear from Angela Kelly who just returned from Greece where she delivered supplies to refugees and from Jeff Klein from Dorchester People for Peace who will talk about political factors affecting the refugee crisis.   $20 donations will be collected, donations will go to Oxfam, an organization already on the ground with refugees in Greece.

Snazzy Jazzy Arty Party | June 20

Please join Dot Art at their annual Snazzy Jazzy Arty Party!!!

Thursday June 20th at the First Parish Curch on Meetinghouse Hill in Dorchester (10 Parish Street).

6:30PM-9:30PM

Includes a silent auction featuring works by dozens of artists from Dorchester and beyond.

$50 per person ($25 for Dot Art Parents, $35 for young professionals). Tickets include one complimentary cocktail and selections of local fare.

Painting For Peace | April 20th & 21st

In hopes for more peace and to honor all those affected by this week's violence, Dot Art teachers, volunteers and children will be painting a giant banner for the community this weekend. Come pick up a brush, mix some paint or help us grommet. Using our hands and hearts can really help to heal. Today (Saturday April 20) and tomorrow (Sunday April 21) we will paint from 1pm to 5 pm down at Savin Hill Beach near the Playground an Ballfield.

Celebrating Dorchester Artists| Feb 28

The Real Estate Group is hosting a special art reception for local Dorchester Artists Liz Carney, Executive Director of Dot Art, Eva Root and Sue Bright; both teaching artists at Dot Art.  Join them for wine, cheese and refreshments on February 28, from 6-8pm at The Real Estate Group's studio office at 1908 Dorchester Avenue. A portion of proceeds from the sale of prints and artwork will benefit Dot Art.
