Neponset Health Center (NHC) provides preventive and chronic medical and behavioral health care to residents in Dorchester and the surrounding communities. All NHC physicians and nurse practitioners are Board Certified or Board Eligible in their specialty.

The 1683 Pierce House is a rare known surviving example in the Boston area of a seventeenth century or First Period house. It documents period building practices, and the tastes and housing needs of one family, the Pierces, over more than three centuries. At different times, family members expanded and adapted their dwelling to meet new demands for space, function, comfort, privacy, and cleanliness.

Harbor Health Services, Inc. is a nonprofit, public health agency committed to providing quality, comprehensive health care in Metropolitan Boston urban neighborhoods, the South Shore and Cape Cod communities. We provide a wide network of healthcare services to meet the needs of our patients. Harbor Health owns and operates three community health centers including: Geiger Gibson Community Health Center; Neponset Health Center; and Mid Upper Cape Community Health Center. In addition, Harbor Health administers the Elder Service Plan, a program providing care to frail elders in their place of residence, the Women Infant Children Nutrition Program, the Ellen Jones Community Dental Center and the Columbia Point Infant & Toddler Day Care Program.

The WIC Program improves the health ststus of families by providing nutrition and health education, nutritious foods and referrals to other health and human services. WIC achieves this by collaborating with community, healthcare,retail food stores, stste and federal patners.

To grow a thoughtful and productive community of youth and adults from diverse backgrounds who work together to build a sustainable food system. This community produces healthy food for residents of the city and suburbs, provides youth leadership opportunities. Most importantly, we strive to inspire and support others to create a change in their own communities.
