"Reflections on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." at Second Church in Dorchester Jan. 25

On Jan. 25, at 6:30 p.m. Second Church in Dorchester will be presenting "Reflections on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by Adelle Banks, as part of the Sacred Conversations Series. Adelle Banks is a production editor and national reporter for the Religion News Service in Washington, D.C. She has won numerous awards for her journalistic work and has recently been investigating Dr. King's prayer life and favorite hymns. Banks is a native of Newport, RI and a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. She has received many honors, and her work was featured in the 2006 book Good News: The Best Religion Writing in North America. Second Church is located at 44 Moultrie Street in Dorchester.
