McCormack Civic Meeting | March 20 2012

The McCormack Civic Meeting of March 20 was held in its usual location, at 800 Columbia Road in the basement of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish. The meeting began with police reports from Officers George Billotte and Mayfield Holliday of C6, Officer Michael Keaney of C11 and Trooper Brian Dunn from the State Police. After these reports, James Baker discussed changes to 11-13 Howell Street, which is a condo development. Baker has been conferring his plans with the Boston Redevelopment Association (BRA) and the Association to find what is best for the community. His current plans included decks on each unit. The plans left many residents concerned - many find that they will be large and will not be aesthetically pleasing as a gateway to their neighborhood. >> Read More
