Responsibilities:

• As part of the multi-disciplinary team, participate in assessment and care planning, assist in developing the activity plan.

• Carry out the plan of care.

• Carry out recreation activities.

• Assist in ambulation.

• Provide personal care assistance.

Do you want to help others? Do you need training or assistance to become a Human Services or disability services worker?

ESOL for Human Services provides job training and english classes for people interested in the Human Services field or helping people with disabilites. They are offering classes beginning the last week in February and ending on June 12th. Classes meet Monday to Thursday from 9:00am-2:30pm.

ESOL for Human Services offers Information Sessions every Thursday at 10:00am for candidates to find out about the program and complete the application process. They are located at 185 Columbia Road in Dorchester.

 

Requirements: 

-18 years or older

-High School Diploma or GED

-MA drivers license or Permit
