A celebration of the variety of cultures in Dorchester. Experience the food, arts, music, fashion show, and more. Plus community information on health, housing, clean energy, alternative transportation, sustainability, business, finance. 

Saturday, Aug 18th at 10am - 5pm in the parking lot of Second Church in Dorchester in Codman Square. Join us for 9am workout with Soul Child Yoga & Eyoda Nikol Fitness.

Tuesdays at Tavolo Drew O'Doherty & Kenny Chambers | June 28

Tuesdays at Tavolo is a new live music series’at Tavolo Ristorante in Dorchster (Peabody Square). The series, which kicked off in February, has picked up steam and now offers a fuller music schedule including a wide range of “living room” style concerts form solo artists of Boston outfits such as The Tarbox Ramblers, The Shods, The Neats, The Del Fuegos, Come, Unnatural Axe, Expanding Man, The Moving Targets, and more. There is no cover or age restriction.

B-3 Food Festival | May 26

Fifth Annual B-3 Food Festival, a lunch and dinner time event.

When: Thurs, May 26 11:00am -7:00pm or until the food is all gone!

Where: Boston Police/VFW Post #1018, 500 Morton St, Dorchester (Free and ample parking)

Tickets: $10 per plate in advance, $13 per plate at the door. Beverages and desserts $1 each. 

Food dishes are from Boston restaurants and law enforcement officers.  

All day raffle with winners drawn at the end of the event. Proceeds to benefit B-3 Community Programs.

Dawnland Brunch: Conversation With A Local Filmmaker | April 24

Filmmaker Ben Pender-Cudlip is holding a party in Dorchester to support his new film, "Dawnland."

Dawnland tells the fascinating story behind Maine's policy through the 1980s to take Native American children from their homes and place them with white families -- and the state's recent efforts to atone.

Come chat with Ben and hear about the 50,000 miles he's put on the car in the last few years and what he's learned along the way.
