Ashmont Farmer Market Bash, Jul. 29

Come to the liveliest Ashmont farmers' market Friday ever on July 29! In addition to fresh veggies, plants, honey, bread & pastries, the market will have: Folk & Bluegrass music by The Pork Choppers (3 to 5 p.m.); bike inspections by the Boston Cyclists' Union, with discount coupons for purchases at Ashmont Cycles; and healthy recipes and samples from UMass Extension Service.

Vendors include Spring Brook Farm of Littleton, Langwater Farm of North Easton, and Dorchester's own Cedar Grove Gardens and Dot-2-Dot Cafe! The market runs every Friday, 3 - 7 p.m. through mid-October on the Ashmont Station Plaza. (Photo Credit: Vicki Rugo)
