Social Media Workshop for Artists (And Those Who Love Them) 

Saturday, March 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Erick Jean Center for the Arts, 157A Washington Street   $25 includes lunch!

Dorchester Arts Collaborative announces its first workshop, Social Media for Artists (And Those Who Love Them), taking place on Saturday, March 16th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Erick Jean Center for the Arts. Presenters will talk about current social media tools including Facebook, Instagram, blogging, Kickstarter, Twitter, and Pinterest, and there will be a panel discussion on the future of social media.  Keynote speaker Chris Taylor will give us the soup-to-nuts construction of a successful social media plan for business, and there will be break-out discussion groups during lunch.  Open to anyone not just artists: please register online at http://dac-online.org/workshops.
