Emergency Homeowner Loan ProgramThe following is a message from the message from the State of Massachusetts regarding the Emergency Homeowners Loan Program (EHLP). Lt. Governor Tim Murray and I recently launched a public service announcement encouraging unemployed homeowners who are facing foreclosure to apply for the federal Emergency Homeowners’ Loan Program (EHLP). Through EHLP, Administered by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) in conjunction with NeighborWorks America, Massachusetts homeowners are eligible for a total of $61 million in EHLP assistance, and must apply by July 22, 2011.

The Administration would appreciate your support in getting this message out to the public as soon as possible to ensure Massachusetts homeowners are getting the help they need during difficult times.
