Public Service Announcement: Mural Needs Your Brainstorm

Dot Ave trotters take note: the Boston marketing firm Cone will be doing its annual Service Day on Dorchester Avenue from Fields Corner to Peabody Square on Thursday, October 6. More than 100 Cone employees will volunteer to help Fields Corner Main Street plant bulbs, landscape, clean up litter and paint murals! Area residents are encouraged to come out to welcome the volunteers, spend a little extra time sprucing up their business storefronts or join FCMS if able. (Image Credit: Artists for Humanity)

One of the projects for the day is to paint a new mural on the wall of the Dorchester Ave. T bridge (the site of the Census mural that was recently painted over). This is where FCMS needs your help! The need to come up with a theme for the mural that will then be designed by Artists For Humanity, the group that designed and helped paint the Census mural. Please send your ideas to FCMS by email or post on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/fieldscorner/) by Labor Day.
