Ladies First Film Screening, Jul. 29

Ladies FirstLadies First presents a film screening of work by young female directors at Hancock 309 Gallery & Consignment Street on July 29! Come to 309 Hancock Street at 7 p.m. to see the films of directors Veronica Wells, Elizabeth Tambascio, Paloma Valenzuela, and Sheen Quintyne. Ladies First is a exhibit highlighting young female artists nationwide. Work will be coming from as far as California and as close as Connecticut and showing the most love to artists living and learning right here in Boston. Tradition Remixed Co-dounder Destiny Palmer has had the pleasure of participating in shows throughout Boston, one in particular is one that was meant to inspire. Paint Pens in Purses gave Palmer the idea to gather up as many female artists as possible and fill a space with all of there work. From instillation to sculpture, jewelry to photos, art of many disciplines will be represented by female artists.
