MAFCU Financial Literacy Seminars, Sep. 15 and Sep. 17

MAFCUThis fall, learn financial literacy with MAFCU! As the school year kicks off, MAFCU will present "Keeping Debt Under Control" on Thursday, September 15, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and "Banking 101 for Parents and Kids," on Saturday, September 17, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at MAFCU’s Dorchester Lower Mills branch, 1205 Adams Street. The seminars will cover basic banking concepts, responsible money management and debt ameloriation. These seminars are part of MAFCU’s ongoing commitment to help members achieve financial well being through financial education.

"Financial literacy is a key to future financial success," says Kerri McLaughlin, MAFCU Assistant Director of Credit Management. “We want to spark a conversation between kids and their parents focusing on a range of personal finance issues.
