"Peace - What's it to you?" UMass/Mayor-sponsored event, Oct. 5

What does "peace" mean to you? Join UMass Boston Chancellor J. Keith Motley, Mayor Menino and Police Commissioner Edward Davis in Four Corners on Tuesday as they show you what peace means to the young people of Boston.

Boston youth will speak out against street crime and gang violence by sharing their messages of peace, tolerance, and love in their community. The Youth & Police Partnership/B-2 Summer Explorers Program created various posters which UMass Boston's Graphic Arts Department combined into two billboard designs. Eight billboards across the city, donated by Clear Channel, will showcase their work.
