Historic Crafts @ Grove Hall, May 31
The Grove Hall Branch Library presents crafting fun with Historic New England's own Pierce House of Dorchester! Come and learn about Antoinette Louis Pierce and partake in historic pastimes of children in the Colonial and Victorian Ages like pressing flowers and planting seeds. Make your own pressed flowers to take home! Registration is required; call 617-427-3337 or see Ms. Maija, Children's Librarian at Grove Hall, for details. Children 6 to 12 welcome. All sessions take place at the Grove Hall Branch of the Boston Public Library, 41 Geneva Avenue, Dorchester, MA.
