Roxbury Bike Tour, Jul. 13

Discover Roxbury

Take two wheels to the street with Discovery Roxbury! The Summer of Cycling continues with the annual Roxbury's Main Streets bike tour on July 13, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Travel to the four corners of Roxbury - Mission Hill, Dudley Square, Grove Hall, and Egleston Square - to meet the people working behind the scenes at Main Streets. Hear about what's happening in each district and get recommendations for places to eat and shop. At the end of the ride, hang out in Egleston Square for a concert performed by Opposite People. Limit 20 people. Helmets are required. Co-presented with the Franklin Park Coalition. Purchase tickets ($10) on Brown Paper Tickets.

The tour will begin in front of Mission Church (1545 Tremont St, Roxbury, MA 02119) and travel down Tremont St and Malcolm X Blvd to Dudley Square. After a brief visit, the group will continue uphill to Grove Hall. From there, participants will bike through Franklin Park and finish the ride in Egleston Square. Trip leaders will then direct riders back to the Southwest Corridor.
