Free Electronics Recycling and Hazardous Waste Disposal, October and November

The City of Boston will offer two Free Hazardous Waste Drop-off Days and two Free Electronics Recycling Events.

Electronics: On two separate days, residents and businesses may come to recycle various electronic materials, including computers, monitors, televisions, LCD panels, printers, and other computer/household electronics. Oct 8th will be open to businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, colleges & universities, and hospitals (pre-registration required: click here). Oct 9th will be open to the public (no appointment necessary). More info on electronics and waste disposal after the break.

Hazardous Waste Disposal: Boston Residents may put household poisons, insecticides, paint, tires, auto fluids, car batteries, wood preservatives, herbicides and pool supplies, propane tanks, motor oil , and products labeled corrosive, flammable or toxic in cardboard boxes for safe transport and bring them to the location below. No commercial waste will be accepted. Proof of residency required. The City reserves the right to reject materials; complete list of acceptable materials on flyer.
