Upham's Corner Main Street & Upham's Corner ArtPlace present THE SECOND ANNUAL UPHAM'S CORNER STREET FESTIVAL
Saturday, August 17th noon to 5 pm, “on the street” - Stoughton Street will be blocked off to traffic.
This FREE street festival will feature food and sidewalk sales from local Upham’s Corner businesses and live music on stage!
Performance schedule:
12-1pm: Fred Woodard Jazz Trio
1-2pm: José Matteo Ballet Theatre
2-3pm: Aaron Larget-Caplan (and special guest!)
3-4pm: The CV Band
4-5pm: Berklee College of Music

Local arts entrepreneurs will display hand-made goods for sale, there will be informational materials from Upham’s Corner organizations, lots of family-friendly activities, and more! The festival is free and open to the public. >> Read More

Little Miss Dorchester & Young Miss Dorchester | apply by May 3d

The Little Miss Dorchester Contest and the Young Miss Dorchester Contest are events that have been part of the annual Dorchester Day celebrations for decades. They have the shared goal of bringing girls into the annual event to have fun and build confidence in public speaking. This year the contests will both be held at the First Parish Church (10 Parish Street, Meeting House Hill, Dorchester, MA) on May 11th, 2:00 p.m.

NEW ART LOVE app intro at the Howard Art Project, 1486 Dorchester Ave., Fields Corner.
Dorchester Artists + interested community members—come one, come all! ARTMORPHEUS and Dorchester Arts Collaborative are, well, collaborating to bring you the art world’s best new app, New Art Love, which provides artists’ communities with a fantastic Open Studios app and website that gives art lovers an easy and on-the-go way to discover local artists 365 day/year. After successfully piloting the app at the South End Open Studios in 2012, New Art Love is now being offered to all of Boston's Open Studios communities.
The Howard Art Project will host this little shindig & there will be refreshments.
