38th Caribbean Carnival Festival & Parade, Aug. 21, 25, 26, 27

Boston Carnival VillageDon a costume, dance to Soca and Steel-Band music and savor culinary treasures prepared by some of the Caribbean’s finest. Founded in 1973, Boston's Trinidad-style Carnival is one of the hottest events of the summer. Louis D. Brown Peace Garden Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Jul. 29

"Focus on the Family" Community Resource Fair, Aug. 16

Come and learn about what resources are out there to improve your family’s quality of life. The Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation along with Metropolitan Boston Housing Partnership (MBHP) will be co-sponsoring a Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Codman Commons at the corner of Talbot Ave. and Washington Street.
